The Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF-Inkotanyi) and the Communist Party of China (CPC) have reinforced their long-standing relations through the signing of two Memorandums of Understanding during a bilateral meeting held yesterday evening at the RPF Headquarters in Kigali.
Ambassador Wellars Gasamagera, Secretary General of the RPF-Inkotanyi, received Hon. Hao Huijie, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shanxi Provincial Committee and Secretary of the CPC Yan’an Municipal Committee, who is on a two-day official visit to Rwanda.
The two MoUs signed focus on cooperation in capacity building and the management of museums and cultural heritage—areas that reflect the parties’ shared commitment to education, cultural preservation, and institutional development.
Amb. Gasamagera reaffirmed the RPF’s dedication to strengthening a forward-looking and dynamic relationship with the CPC.
Hon. Hao Huijie, leading the Chinese delegation, welcomed the partnership and pledged to ensure the signed agreements are fully implemented.
The visit highlights the growing depth of party-to-party cooperation between Rwanda and China and signals continued collaboration across political, cultural, and developmental sectors.
